| Not only did we remove the stone wall, we also dug a stair way to the lower level and a room under the floor of the West Wing. The replacement wall is a sheetrock wall. The cobblestone floor is composed of stones that were originally in this room. The beams that sagged their way across the ceiling of the room are now supported by new posts. | |||||||
